Baseball Recap: Boyd-Buchanan Comes Up Short

Boyd-Buchanan lost against Baylor back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Boyd-Buchanan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Hise, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Boyd-Buchanan has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. As for Baylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyd-Buchanan will head out to square off against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Baylor, they will venture away from home to face off against Knoxville Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
