After having lost a blowout in their previous game against White River, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Auburn Mountainview Lions. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Auburn Mountainview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to challenge their familiar foe Kent-Meridian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Auburn Mountainview will face off against rival Auburn at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
