Litchfield waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Vandalia Vandals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Purple Panthers have posted against the Vandals since September 8, 2023.

Litchfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-16, 26-24.

Litchfield picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-14. As for Vandalia, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-24-1.
