For the second straight game, Delaware Valley will face off against Montgomery. The Terriers will head out to take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delaware Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Delaware Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Montgomery as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Terriers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Julia DeFrange made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Riley Liskowacki and Ava Figalora did most of the damage at the plate: Liskowacki went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Figalora went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was Figalora's first of the season. Riley Hintenach was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Delaware Valley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in eight consecutive games.

Delaware Valley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Montgomery, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
