Basketball Recap: North Forney Comes Up Short

North Forney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockwall Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 66th).

Despite the loss, North Forney still got an impressive performance from Zach Thompson, who posted 14 points. Jaiden Johnson was another key player, putting up five points.

North Forney's loss dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Rockwall, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

North Forney will look to defend their home court on Friday against Forney at 7:00 p.m. North Forney is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season. As for Rockwall, they will venture away from home to take on Royse City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
