Baseball Recap: Andrew Jackson Academy Takes a Loss

If Andrew Jackson Academy was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Colleton Prep Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Jack Walling put in work no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. Walling was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
