Baseball Recap: St. Edmund Prep Takes a Loss

St. Edmund Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Monsignor McClancy Crusaders. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in May of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Edmund Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Monsignor McClancy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

St. Edmund Prep has already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Holy Cross on the 9th. As for Monsignor McClancy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 loss against St. Francis Prep on the 9th.
