Basketball Game Preview: Vidalia Vikings vs. Ferriday Trojans

The Vidalia Vikings will square off against the Ferriday Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Vidalia took a loss when they played away from home back in January, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Caldwell Parish 63-30.

Meanwhile, Ferriday was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 72-66 to Madison.

Vidalia's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Ferriday, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.

Things could have been worse for Vidalia, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-43 loss to Ferriday in their previous matchup back in December of 2024.
