Softball Recap: GV Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Beaver Dam on Friday, GV Christian came back down to earth. The Guardians came up short against the Milford Tigers on Friday, falling 14-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Guardians of the 18-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

GV Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malia Arredondo, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Another was Sophie Guerra, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

GV Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Milford, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, GV Christian will venture away from home to take on Panguitch at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Milford, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against Beaver Dam on the 6th.
