Football Game Recap: Rivers vs. St. George's

Things haven't been easy for St. George's, and their game on Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. They suffered a grim 13-37 defeat to Rivers on Saturday. The state rankings had actually given St. George's a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

St. George's are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5. The win got Rivers back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week St. George's take on St. Mark's at 3:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Rivers, they will face off against Groton School. Groton School took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Rivers's good fortune.
