Marian waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Pius X Thunderbolts by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Erin Cramer paced Marian's offense, picking up five kills. Cramer got some help from Addy Janke and her ten assists. Cramer was also a major player on defense: she and Taylor McLeay shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Marian's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Pius X, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-11.

Marian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Elkhorn South on the 4th. As for Pius X, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lincoln Southeast on the 4th.
