Softball Recap: Blue Eye Bulldogs vs. Sparta Trojans

Friday just wasn't the day for Blue Eye's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 10-0 walloping at the hands of the Sparta Trojans in their second game on Friday. Blue Eye has not had much luck with Sparta recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

For Sparta's part, Addison Humble made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Humble has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Humble was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.
