Volleyball Recap: John Marshall Comes Up Short

John Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Highland Springs Springers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Justices of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

John Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland Springs, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, John Marshall will be playing in front of their home fans against Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Highland Springs and Hermitage will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
