Stillwater had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Park Wolfpack a 1-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ponies have posted since April 26, 2024.

Not much got past Dylan Bloom, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Park off the board. Bloom has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Stillwater saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Janke, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that Janke has snagged this season. Another was Henry Mestad, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Stillwater pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Park, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
