Baseball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Polk, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Comets by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for North Polk, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Comets beat Carroll by a score of 1-0 later that day.
