Baseball Recap: Shrewsbury Comes Up Short

Shrewsbury and Chelmsford squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Shrewsbury had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. The Colonials just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Shrewsbury's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Chelmsford, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Shrewsbury nor Chelmsford have any future games scheduled.
