Volleyball Recap: D'Hanis Takes a Loss

D'Hanis lost against Saint Mary's Hall back in August of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cowboys took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barons. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Breanna Benavides produced another solid effort getting 12 digs and nine aces for Saint Mary's Hall. Benavides is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 34 games she's played dating back to last season.

D'Hanis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Saint Mary's Hall, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, D'Hanis and Saint Mary's Hall will both be playing Hondo the next time they take the court. The Cowboys will head out to face the Owls at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Barons will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
