Softball Recap: Curtis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brooklyn Technical on Wednesday, Curtis came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Notre Dame Academy Gators on Thursday, falling 12-4.

Curtis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Irizarry, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Curtis' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Notre Dame Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Curtis will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wagner at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Moore Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
