Basketball Recap: Churubusco Comes Up Short

Churubusco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays.

Eli Radtke went supernovafor North Judson-San Pierre, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Javen Christensen, who posted eight points.

Churubusco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Churubusco has already played their next matchup, a 64-48 loss against Tri-Central on the 3rd. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-40 defeat against Frankton on the 2nd.
