Volleyball Preview: Crownpoint Eagles vs. Zuni Thunderbirds
The Crownpoint Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Zuni Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Crownpoint is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Tohatchi just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Cougars.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-10, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Zuni hadn't done well against Navajo Prep recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Thunderbirds skirted past the Eagles 3-2. The game was the first time the Thunderbirds have beaten the Eagles on their court since September 28, 2021.
