Basketball Recap: Denby Takes a Loss

Denby lost against Communication Media Arts back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Denby Tars took a 38-23 bruising from the Communication Media Arts Pharaohs.

Denby's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Communication Media Arts, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Denby will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pershing at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Communication Media Arts, they will face off against Crockett Tech at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
