While Erath's victory against Delcambre wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Panthers 12-10. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since February 26, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Erath let Kate Wilson and Brinklei Landry run wild. Wilson went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Landry got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Wilson has posted since back in March. Shelbie-Grace Bernard was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Erath kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delcambre only managed seven.

The win snapped Erath's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-13 record. As for Delcambre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Erath will face off against Jennings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Delcambre, they will take on Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lafayette have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
