Basketball Game Preview: Hermiston Bulldogs vs. Walla Walla Blue Devils

Hermiston is 2-8 against Walla Walla since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Hermiston has given up an average of 70.3 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hermiston is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They snuck past Hanford with a 73-68 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, Walla Walla was able to grind out a solid victory over Sageview on Friday, taking the game 71-60. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Walla Walla's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Hermiston, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Hermiston won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, slipping by Walla Walla 64-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
