Basketball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus and Frontenac squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Columbus had to settle for second. They fell 42-32 to the Frontenac Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-34 back in January.

Columbus has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. Frontenac's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Frontenac beat Columbus by a score of 42-32 on Monday.
