Softball Game Preview: Wahkiakum Mules vs. Morton/White Pass Timberwolves

Wahkiakum is 0-9 against Morton/White Pass since April of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mules will be playing in front of their home fans against the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. Wahkiakum has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wahkiakum lost 16-1 to Ilwaco on Tuesday. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wahkiakum saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evy Hogue, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Morgan Lewis also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Morton/White Pass came into Monday's matchup having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Winlock 27-5 on Monday. The Timberwolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Morton/White Pass' victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Wahkiakum, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1.
