Basketball Recap: Glendora Gets the Win

Glendora's tournament run continued when they took on Brea Olinda on Wednesday. The Tartans snuck past the Wildcats with a 70-65 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tartans.

Loss or not, Brea Olinda got some senior leadership from Logan Severson and Nick Chamberlain. Severson posted 24 points, while Chamberlain almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine assists. Severson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brysen Byrnes, who shot 71% from the field en route to 12 points.

Glendora's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Brea Olinda, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Glendora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-55 victory against La Canada on the 12th. As for Brea Olinda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-23 win against La Puente on the 12th.
