Josh King and Terry Ahn secure win for Troy

Recap: Troy Warriors vs. Santiago Cavaliers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fountain Valley, the Troy Warriors were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-45 victory over Santiago. Given Troy's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Santiago is ranked 847th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Troy to victory were Josh King and Terry Ahn. King scored 14 points along with three steals, while Ahn scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Andre Taberna was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Troy's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Santiago, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Troy will be home for the holidays to greet Fullerton at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Fullerton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday. Santiago will be home for the holidays to greet Segerstrom at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
