Volleyball Game Preview: Jackson Aggies vs. Washington County Bulldogs

Jackson is 2-8 against Washington County since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Aggies will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

On Wednesday, Jackson made easy work of Clarke County and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Washington County was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Blacksher. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 17, 2023, but that streak is no more.

One reason for the win was Washington County's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-12.

Jackson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Washington County, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Jackson came out on top in a nail-biter against Washington County in their previous meeting last Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aggies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
