Baseball Recap: Justin Garza Victorious

Justin Garza won the last time they faced Edison and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Guardians walked away with a 6-1 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Guardians.

Luke Trukki spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. Justin Garza is 3-1 when Trukki allows one or fewer earned runs, but 6-14 otherwise.

At the plate, Isaac Perales was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

Justin Garza's record now sits at 9-15. As for Edison, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16-1.

Edison has already played their next matchup, a 10-5 victory against Minarets on the 7th. Hopefully Justin Garza paid attention to the Tigers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
