Softball Recap: Boron Takes a Loss

Boron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Desert Scorpions. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Boron saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalli Wolfe, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles. That's the most doubles Wolfe has posted since back in February of 2024.

Boron now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Desert, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Boron wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Silver Valley on the 3rd. As for Desert, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Immanuel Christian on the 1st.
