Football Recap: Lockhart Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lockhart had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it six. They took a blow against the Hendrickson Hawks, falling 63-6. The Lions lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-11 score last time.

Noel Jaimes Ll threw for 108 yards and one touchdown. Demonte Anthony was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Bob Estrada rushed for 50 yards.

As for Hendrickson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. That 57 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

E.J. Neal-Adams was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 94 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Martinka, who rushed for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lockhart is set to face off against their familiar foe Cedar Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hendrickson will take on rival Weiss at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,204 yards in their previous games.
