Basketball Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Marshall Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-50 to the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-33 back in January.

CHAAMP HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as David Harrison went 10-for-12 to rack up 23 points and seven boards and Caelan DeLisi went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Harrison's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Joe Hefner was another key player, putting up six points.

Marshall Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Marshall Christian Academy nor CHAAMP HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
