Soccer Recap: Norwalk Comes Up Short

Norwalk and Los Amigos squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Norwalk had to settle for second. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Los Amigos Lobos who were credited with the victory. The Los Amigos Lobos got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Norwalk Lancers' four.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Los Amigos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Los Amigos, they will face off against Dominguez at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dominguez will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Los Amigos surely won't give up without a fight.
