Basketball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 52-43 to the South Lyon East Cougars on Tuesday. The Mavericks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 63-48.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for South Lyon East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Milford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-36 victory against Lakeland on the 7th. As for South Lyon East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-56 win against South Lyon on the 7th.
