Volleyball Game Preview: Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies vs. Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams

The Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies will venture away from home to challenge the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Lawrence Tech will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Greater Lawrence Tech made easy work of Academy of Notre Dame and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Shawsheen Valley Tech came up short against Arlington Catholic on Friday and fell 3-1.

While Shawsheen Valley Tech had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 14-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Shawsheen Valley Tech's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Greater Lawrence Tech couldn't quite get it done against Shawsheen Valley Tech in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Reggies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
