If Rensselaer Central was riding high fresh off their 70-31 takedown of West Lafayette last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rensselaer Central Bombers took a 68-51 bruising from the McCutcheon Mavericks on Saturday. The Bombers' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

McCutcheon found their leader in sophomore Keara Lipscomb-Allen, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Lipscomb-Allen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lillie Graves, who posted 11 points along with five boards and five steals.

Rensselaer Central's loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-2. As for McCutcheon, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.
