Volleyball Recap: Pawling Comes Up Short

Pawling managed to slip by Haldane the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Blue Devils since October 10, 2019.

Pawling was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Haldane work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-15.

Pawling is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Haldane, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.

While Pawling had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
