Prosper and Allen are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. Prosper will challenge Allen at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Prosper sitting on five straight wins and Allen on 15.
On Monday, Prosper made easy work of McKinney and carried off a 16-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.
Bella Acuff looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Abigail Watney was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Analia Dishong, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Prosper was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .625. They are 9-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Allen hadn't beaten Plano West on the road since February 16, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 10-5.
Yahmadi Morgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Adyson Fincanon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ashtyn Kotaska, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Prosper's record now sits at 14-10. As for Allen, their record is now 22-3.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Prosper hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .356. However, it's not like Allen struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Prosper might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Allen when the teams last played back in March. Can Prosper avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
