Volleyball Recap: Paige Wolinski's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chambers/Wheeler Central over Creighton

Chambers/Wheeler Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Creighton Bulldogs. If the Renegades were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chambers/Wheeler Central was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Creighton work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24.

Chambers/Wheeler Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paige Wolinski, who had nine digs and two aces. Savannah Hansen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Creighton, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Chambers/Wheeler Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Boyd County on the 16th. Creighton has also already played their next game (against Tri County Northeast), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
