Football Recap: Minford Takes a Loss

Minford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Valley Indians. The game marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Curt Glenn threw for 46 yards on six of 16 attempts.

Minford's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Valley, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Minford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will host Zane Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them.
