Softball Recap: Wilson's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wilson waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Southlands Christian Eagles. The four-run effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Wilson's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.75 runs across that stretch. As for Southlands Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Wilson will challenge Workman at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Southlands Christian, they will take on Calvary Baptist at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southlands Christian will need to watch out since Calvary Baptist has now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matches.
