Soccer Game Preview: Palm Desert vs. Rancho Mirage

Palm Desert is headed into Monday's following a draw, the team's first since December 27. Neither they nor La Quinta could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Rancho Mirage kept a clean sheet against Xavier Prep on Friday. Everything went their way against the Saints as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rattlers considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Rancho Mirage is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those nine games. Palm Desert's draw gives them a new season record of 8-8-4.
