Basketball Recap: Vilonia Comes Up Short

Vilonia suffered their biggest defeat since November 14th on Friday. They lost 67-44 to the Sheridan Yellowjackets. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Vilonia is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6. As for Sheridan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Vilonia will be playing in front of their home fans against Sylvan Hills at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Sheridan will take on Pine Bluff in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheridan is facing Pine Bluff at the right time seeing as Pine Bluff is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
