Basketball Game Preview: Shawnee Braves vs. North Union Wildcats

Shawnee and North Union are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Shawnee Braves are taking a road trip to take on the North Union Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Shawnee is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Shawnee was able to grind out a solid victory over Meadowdale, taking the game 47-39.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 54-42 win over Kenton on Tuesday.

Shawnee pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for North Union, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Shawnee came up short against North Union when the teams last played back in January, falling 48-36. Can Shawnee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
