Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Freedom Irish. If the Terrors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Irish when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Freedom, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Appleton West has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Valley Christian on the 13th. As for Freedom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln on the 13th.
