Softball Recap: Hoover Makes It Six in a Row at Home

With a playoff win on the line, Hoover rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Oak Mountain Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hoover pushed their record up to 19-15 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oak Mountain, they moved to 23-16 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
