Soccer Recap: Washington-Liberty Comes Up Short

Washington-Liberty and South County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Washington-Liberty had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 1-0. Washington-Liberty have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Washington-Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for South County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2-1 record this season.

Washington-Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South County, they will take on Freedom at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Freedom will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something South County surely won't give up without a fight.
