Basketball Recap: Hazen Find Success

Hazen had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They slipped by the Randolph Ghosts 62-61. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Ghosts, too.

Hazen pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Randolph, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Hazen will head out to take on Harwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Randolph, they will welcome Lake Region at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Randolph is facing Lake Region at the right time seeing as Lake Region is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
