Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Benson Tech on Tuesday, Roosevelt came back down to earth. The Roughriders came up short against the Ida B. Wells Guardians on Thursday, falling 3-0. If the Roughriders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Guardians when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Ida B. Wells, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roosevelt will challenge rival Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ida B. Wells is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
