It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but University Liggett had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Edison Academy Pioneers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

University Liggett's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-11-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Edison Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 28-13-1.

As of now, neither University Liggett nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
